Useful terms to know when starting an ecommerce business on Amazon.com:
Sponsored Products are cost-per-click (CPC) ads that promote individual product listings on Amazon — pay only when your ad is clicked on. By creating Sponsored Products ads that appear in related search results and product pages, relevant audiences will be able to quickly find your products. This can broaden the way you reach relevant audiences, maximize impact, encourage customers to buy throughout their journey, and increase product sales opportunities.
Sponsored Brands ads allow your brand to appear prominently on shopping results pages so that consumers can better discover and interact with your brand or product during the search process. In a Sponsored Brands ad, you can display your brand logo, a custom title, and up to three products. When consumers click on the link in the ad, they can go to your designated landing page or Store, which can help you increase brand awareness and customer loyalty.
What do Amazon Coupons refer to?
With Amazon Coupons, you can offer discounts on a single product or a set of products and enjoy automatic merchandising for your coupon through Amazon. Coupons can help to increase conversions.
How can Amazon Brand Analytics help me?
Amazon Brand Analytics is an add-on feature available to registered brands selling in the Amazon store on Seller Central, which can help you understand customers and competitors through brand insight data. It provides a collection of reports and metrics to help brands make data-driven decisions to increase sales and customer loyalty. Amazon sellers can use this data to identify customer shopping patterns, analyze past purchasing behaviors, and more:

- Improve visibility — use ads and keyword optimization.
- Gain competitive edge — figure out what products to add to your portfolio.
- Grow sales — get strategic about pricing, advertising, and creating deals like bundles.
What is Brand Protection for?
Protect your intellectual property (i.e., Patents, Copyrights and Trademarks) with Amazon Brand Protection. Amazon offers robust tools to protect customers, brands and sellers by preventing counterfeit, fraud and abuse from bad actors on our stores. Once enrolled in brand registry, brands get access to the report violations tool to safeguard sales.
What are the benefits of Amazon Stores?
Amazon Stores help to provide a comprehensive shopping experience and brand story visibility. They are custom multipage shopping destinations on Amazon for individual brands that let you showcase your brand story and product offering. Amazon Stores require no website experience to use and it’s free.
What is A+ Content?
A+ Content offers brand owners a way to engage with customers to showcase the detail page with supplemental marketing content on their branded ASINs.

Using the A+ Content Manager, you can describe your product features in different ways, whether its highlighting aspects of your brand with the A+ brand story features, or deep diving on product feature information with the enhanced product description features. This can help customers get excited about your brand, which is key to driving a purchase and growing brand awareness.
What is Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA)?
Starting an ecommerce business can take up a lot of effort. We try to make your seller journey as hassle-free as possible. With Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA), send your products to an Amazon fulfillment center, and Amazon will pick, pack, and ship these products and provide customer service, including customer inquiries and returns. This can save you a lot of work, material, and financial resources. Sellers who use FBA also see sales increase by 20-25% on average and FBA ensures reliable 2-day shipping to all US 50 States so you can focus on your brand.

FBA is not only a great choice as a logistics solution for your new cross-border business, but it can also help you attract more Amazon customers from around the world.
Thanks to Amazon FBA, I don’t have to prep, pack and ship out my products and the time saved allowed me to spend more time with my kids and improve our family finances at the same time.
